i am ravernava, which is a combination of three of my parts: raven, vernon, and navarra.
i am an artist and writer interested in intimacy, belief, care, and the ways we learn to survive ourselves. my work moves between visual art, text, and digital forms, often blurring the line between archive and confession.
i make work to understand what it means to live honestly in a body and in relation to others. i return often to themes of devotion, grief, family, disability, queerness, and the quiet rituals that hold people together. my practice values slowness, attention, and sincerity over polish or spectacle.
this website functions as an ongoing record of my thinking and making. it holds finished work, fragments, reflections, and things that are still in process. i am less interested in presenting a fixed identity than in allowing change to be visible over time.
